A beautiful late born whitetail fawn, not long out of spots, poses for me on a back road in Bedford County, Virginia…in the Blue Ridge Mountains… Nature has given this fawn an extra heavy coat and a darker color to help protect it from the winter elements and predators…including hunters!Click any image to see a larger version…
